YUM - AAAYY - ZING!! Words are insufficient to describe my excitement for Mario’s!!! I’ll start with THIN CRUST - Classic Neapolitan pizza, ITALIAN style. Then FRESH FRESH FRESH ingredients make all the difference. I look forward to it, whenever I can make it, usually for lunch on Friday, the only week day they’re open at 12:00 noon. Awesome vibe that’s 100% local local local. Small place, mostly take out, but you can seat 3-4 people at the window counter, which I love. Old school marble counter, with comfy padded bar stools. You have to know it’s here as the location is a tad off the beaten path of prime visibility. Which ‘proves’ one of my philosophies ‘ great location, often mehh food, not so great location - the food must be amazing. So many amazing points …. One of which is the ACTUAL MARIO! Punctuating the super local CHEF OWNED cafe. He’s here all the time, super nice guy, a joy to chat with … and he truly loves making incredible pizza!!

Ordered a small Sweet & Savory pie through DoorDash and I was so delighted. What a treat! I absolutely loved the flavors. The fig glaze is chef’s kiss. Definitely going to try more pizza from this place!

My bf and I got a Margarita pizza and a sweet and savory pizza tonight and the owner was awesome and his whole crew was polite his take on the sweet and savory was spot on my bf even substituted the bacon for eggplant and my god that was a game changer !!!! The margarita pizza was perfect to the core the cheese to sauce ratio was impeccable the natural tomato tase of the sauce was out of this world!!! It’s a definite must go to pizza spot if you haven’t tried marios you haven’t tried he best!!!

Some of the best pizza I've had in Boston. I didn't have to wait long despite being a walk-in, and the owners were very friendly. The Four Cheese was stellar

Great NY Style with Portuguese style options. I stick with the traditional round pizzas even though they have special order Sicilian style as well. It's done with regular pizza dough and not the traditional style like a foccacia, so I'm not as much a fan of that. It is heartiest, though. Love that they also offer patrons an ability to "pay meals forward" for the community.

The plain cheese was incredible. The sauce was flavorful and the crust was thin and crispy. This is probably the best pizza I’ve ever had in Boston, and I can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely the best crust ANYWHERE. Toppings are great too. I once grabbed a slice of pizza with eggplant. Eating it in the car I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Pizza heaven of course
